Continuation of group policy after resignation.

I have resigned from my job in a PSB. During my tenure I purchased a group insurance policy. Whether am I still covered under the Group Insurance Policy issued during my tenure with the bank after leaving the bank?

The policy premium for renewal has been deducted by the insurance company for this FY25-26. During the telephonic conversation with the executives they said that the policy will continue, but I am still skeptic weather my claim would be honoured or not?

Also, for any claim related issue, weather the bills have to submitted keeping the previous employer in loop?

With whom you had this telephonic conversation??
With your employer or the insurance provider?

I would suggest to have this in email from the insurance company.

Also, if it going to continue claim should not be impacted.
I would also think that your privious employer will not come in between you and the provider.
