If your Amazon ICICI limit is only 1 lakh and the insurance payment is 1.13 lakh, the simplest way is to just split the payment. Most insurance portals let you pay part of the amount by card and the rest using net banking or UPI. So you can swipe the card for 1 lakh and then clear the remaining 13k from your savings.

Another option some people use is loading money into the insurer’s wallet or paying through an app that allows partial payments, but honestly the first method is the easiest and works everywhere.

You don’t need to do anything complicated here, just use your card for whatever limit it allows and finish the balance directly from your bank account. The insurer doesn’t mind as long as the full premium reaches them.

Recently, I made a 6 lac rupee insurance payment using my SBI Air India card, even though my credit card limit was 5 lac. I transferred an extra 1,20,000 rupees to the credit card via NEFT, which showed an available credit card limit of 6.20 lac. Then, I paid the insurance premium.
