I have a question that if my credit enquiry is high, is there any chance that bank can reject my CC application although having credit score 760 ?

My credit age is 1 yr 5 month and credit enquiry is 41. Is that high enough to be rejected in CC application? Because recently Axis bank rejected my application showing cause I don't meet bank norms. Should not I do any enquiry for next 6 to 12 months?

41 inquiries in 1 year and 5 months is quite high! Some banks, such as Federal, have strict conditions stating there shouldn't be more than 2 inquiries within the past 3 or 6 months. However, most other banks may approve applications if the individual has a stable income source and maintains a good repayment history

Yes 41 enquiries is too high.
Nowadays everything has become digital and automated. AI is everywhere. Yes, now the application process is also screened by AI and if anything suspicious or negative is found, the application gets rejected whether it is CC, loan or anything else.
