Advice on SIP

I have just opened my salary account and I want to start SIP but I don’t know in which SIP should I invest, I am from Tech Background so zero knowledge on investment and finance any advice or guidance will be appreciated

  • Build an emergency fund of at least 9 months.
  • Get a term life insurance and health insurance. Avoid ULIPs (Unit Linked Insurance Plans).
  • Invest according to asset allocation

For beginners best way to start sip for long term is - invest in midcap companies with no risk for minimum 5years to maximum you wanted for 20-30% percent returns and increase every year your sip amount for 5% of your sip is for better compounding returns . Thank you.
