Hello fellow kifaayats!!

I am using freecharge and getting invitation to apply for the Axis Freecharge Plus credit card from the app. Are there any users of this card? Is it worth to apply for it? Please advise.

  • 50% off on Annual Subscription of EROS Now
  • Rs. 350 Voucher of Myntra and BigBasket on activating this card within 30 days

Milestone Benefit

  • If you spend more than Rs. 4999 in a month you get 350 reward points (Worth Rs. 70)
  • If you spend more than Rs. 50,000 in 1 year, your renewal Fees will be waived off

Opinion
This card could be decent for your utility bill payments, mobile recharges. As it's a virtual card, you won't need to carry a physical card. If you want a physical card, you can get it by paying Rs. 250 extra. Overall, it's a decent 1st credit card but it cannot be your only credit card. If you take this card you will need to take another credit card since it doesn't offer good benefits in shopping, food, travel, etc. If you're getting this card lifetime free, there's no harm in taking this card

Thank you @ShavirB is there any capping on the 5% cashback like upto 100 or 1000 in a billing cycle?

I am also interested in this card, however I came across some videos which say Freecharge is asking for 1% convenience charge+Gst for utility bill payments (which would imply actual value back would be less than 4%).
Can anyone confirm this please?
