Bank Of Maharashtra provides electronic payment options for the Indian market.

Mainly there are 3 ways in which you can make electronic payments with Bank Of Maharashtra - RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS. Before moving forward, it's important to understand the differences between the 3 modes;

RTGS/NEFT/IMPS Transfer with Bank of Maharashtra:

There are two ways to initiate an RTGS / NEFT/ IMPS transfer with Bank of Maharashtra:

  1. Offline submission /In Branch Request (FOR RTGS/NEFT)
  2. Mobile Banking (FOR RTGS /NEFT /IMPS).

Step 1:
Download and Complete the Form
  • Download the attached NEFT/RTGS form (in PDF format). This same form will be provided to you if you choose to initiate the transfer through an in-branch request. We have attached a copy of the same form in this post for your ease.
  • Print a clear copy of the downloaded form.
  • Fill out the form completely and accurately. How to fill up the form is mentioned below
How to Fill up the Form?
  • Start by writing the date on both sides of the RTGS form.
  • On the left side, write your name, account number, type and the amount to be transferred in figures, charges, and total amount.
  • Now, on the right side, write your branch name and amount to be transferred in both figures and words.
  • Next, on both sides, write the beneficiary name, bank name, branch, account number, type, IFSC code, and city.
  • Now, recheck all the details and sign the form.

Step 2: Submit the Form at Your Branch
  • Visit your nearest Bank Of Maharashtra branch.
  • Submit the completed NEFT/RTGS form along with any required identification documents to a bank teller or customer service representative.
  • Once your request is processed, the funds will be transferred to the beneficiary's account.
Mobile Banking (Bank Of Maharashtra Mobile App)
  • Log on to your Maha App using your MPIN.
  • Now, on the home screen, you will see a swipe to send money option. Swipe that interactive window and you will land on the fund transfer page.
  • Now, select if you want to have a self-transfer, within the bank, another bank, or an MMID transfer.
  • Now, if you want to transfer to another beneficiary, click on manage beneficiary and then add a new beneficiary option.
  • Add the beneficiary account number, bank, name, mobile number, IFSC code, and other details click on add beneficiary, and confirm using MPIN/OTP.
  • Now, on the fund transfer window, select the beneficiary you want to transfer funds to.
  • Enter the amount you want to transfer, select the fund transfer option(IMPS/NEFT) and click on submit.
  • Enter your transaction PIN and confirm to complete your transaction.
