Depending on the city you are in, a combination of a PSU bank and a private bank would be a good choice.

SBI
They have branches everywhere and they have the highest amount of ATM's
- But UPI services will be down most of the time. same with ATM's and CDM's


You can consider Kotak, ICICI, HDFC and Axis for their interface and for their credit cards in future.

If you want a digital account, try the account which ask for a initial funding, they are best. I personally use INDUSIND Bank digital savings account. I think nothing more we want from a savings account.

From INDUSIND Bank , What is your Experience on UPI transactions and Mobile app ?
Is it Zero balance account?

UPI transaction using a 3rd party app is fantastic. Never failed.

UPI transactions using IndusMobile app ( @indus) need improvement. Never failed but not user friendly, because Paytm, phone pe, gpay etc. is too good in that sense.

Yes it is a zero balance Account.

Indus Mobile app is well arranged and very handy app. start FD very easily.

My only suggestion is just improve @indus UPI UI.
