Best short term investment

Can anyone please let me know about best short term investment for lumsum amount to get maximum interest??

• If you don't want to take risks, then FD is the option for short-term investment,
• If you can take risks, you may invest in some large-cap / Nifty 50 stocks.

I don't want to take risk with lumsum amount so I would go with FD but I am confused about the maximum amount how much I should invest so that TDS wouldn't get deducted (if it would be more than 40k interest). I come under 30% tax bracket so should I invest it under my parents account & show less than 2.5 lacs in ITR??

you can.. however you may still get Qs ( unlikely but possible)

Split into multiple banks so tht interest is less than 40k p.a.. u will still need to pay tax.. just no tds.. better yield
