Saving Account opening through an online portal in ICICI Bank is next to impossible now-a-days.

But, if you try to do so, ICICI Bank will make a hard pull from your CIBIL Credit Report and report your activity as a 'Personal Loan Application' to CIBIL.

Has anyone else checked the CIBIL Credit Report and found it the same?

Email to their customer care (search it on their official site) and ask them to remove this enquiry.
They would reply within 2 working days.
You will need to do regular followups unless they confirm that they have removed the enquiry.

This has happened to me 2 years back when I was trying to apply for their LTF platinum CC but left the application on second page itself, it appeared as hard enquiry for loan.
They removed it after few ail followups.

Yeah... buggy process/software, regardless you apply for CC, loan, SB... They perform CIBIL enquiry for personal loan.

Yes i got two cibil enquiries for the same

I got Personal Loan enquiry from ICICI Bank without checking any Loan or Credit card. They didn't remove it.

But you must have triggered some transaction, like trying to apply for credit card or opening a savings bank account??
Their online application system is so bugged.
