CRED has started charging the Service Fee on Utility bill payment

I have noticed from last 3 months CRED App has started charging the service fee if we pay from Credit Card

Earlier app didn't charge anything but nowadays service fee added

Addition to this would you guys still use CRED App to pay the utility payments (Electricity bill, Insurance payments etc) or Dedicated App of your bank to make the payment from Credit card?

Because this is going to continue then cred might end up with less customers

Or maybe these fees added to some of old customers IDK, I just want to know your views on it.

I do not use cred for Utility payments.

But there is this offer with OneCard
  1. Get 5% off on utility bill payments like mobile recharge, postpaid bill, electricity bill, DTH and so on
  2. Offer is valid on a minimum transaction of Rs. 250
  3. The maximum discount given will be Rs. 30

I only use this once to recharge as its direct discount.

Yes cred has started charging for utility bill payment. I have shifted to Amazon pay for now. Also the OneCard offer mentioned by @Skylar is true. I use it once every month.

BTW @Skylar congratulations on your msg number 1000 😀👍🏼

I'm using the Airtel Thanks app since last month as I got that card.
and previously was using Gpay with Ace card.

We should use apps in rotation so they keep giving us offers to retain us.

Yup. Absolutely we should be looking to maximize our benefit through multiple options that are available.

Yup, I started using Cred as my UPI app from last 2 months and I got 539/- so far.
Will use it for 1 more month and will shift to another UPI App.
If we keep using the same app for long we will get no offers on it.

So do you have all three Airtel, ACE and Flipkart Axis card ?

Same offer is available with the AU Credit cards as well.

So if you have both One Card and AU Credit card,
You can use Cred to avail the same offer twice.

Good hear, but I avoid AU bank one of the worst small finance banks. With worst costumer support. If people have the card already you can use it but if people are thinking of getting the card from that offer, it is not at all recommended.
