if you want to minimise credit utilization pay before bill generation, if you want max utilization minimum risk pay 5-7 days before due date. don't pay just on due date if any transaction failure you will fall in charges

Bill payment karne ka best time bill Generated hone ke baad turant pay kare ya due date pe
1. If Credit Utilization < 30%:
○ Pay your credit card bill 5-10 days before the due date to avoid any unexpected issues such as delays in processing or potential late fees. This practice helps maintain a good credit score and ensures timely payments.

2. If Credit Utilization > 30%:
○ Pay the amount exceeding 30% of your credit limit before the bill generation date. This helps reduce your credit utilization ratio, which positively impacts your credit score.
○ Pay the remaining balance 5-10 days before the due date as mentioned above. This ensures you avoid any late fees and maintain a good payment history.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your credit utilization and maintain a healthy credit score.

Pro Tip: Pay your credit card bill using MobiKwik for consistent cashback(as long as the offer is available) and use Cred for last-minute instant settlements(worked everytime for me)

Doesn't really matter as long as you are paying your bills before the due date. I'm paying my dues in last 2-3 days of my due date from years and had no negative impact on CIBIL.
Additionally, if your overcall Credit Utilization is more than 30% then you might want to consider paying some amount before the bill generation. Here, I mean overall credit utilization: Total Credit Card bill amount of all the credit cards of all the banks should be less than 30% of Sum of all the credit limits from all the banks. Individual limits doesn't matter (generally it is said so as to create a discipline of paying bills on time).
