If you have same bank saving account, just choose auto deduct so that you don't need to worry about payment due date.

I think a more concerning thing from my POV would be its impact on your credit score. (subjective to how old is your card/loan and also, the credit history you have maintained).
 
So many people don't know, we still have 3 days after the due date to pay the credit card bills.

"As of July 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given credit cardholders a three-day grace period to make payments without incurring late fees."

But as others have mentioned, it's not a great idea to go far for this deadline.
Please pay in advance, enjoy the cashback and be stress free!

Yes this policy is there but no bank follows that. Every bank will add late fees the very next day.
As you said why go so far till the deadline and take unnecessary headache.
