Credit Score Dropped due to false reporting

I had taken an education loan from CreditFair in 2021 and closed the loan in 2023.
Meanwhile they had internally transferred the loan to Avanse financial services.
After the foreclosure I took a NOC from CreditFair which was also approved by Avanse.

Fast forward 2024 December I see a significant drop in my score and then in January 2025. I checked my cibil report and found late payments against Avanse financial services loan.

I contacted them via email and also by raising dispute on credit bureau but both credit fair and avanse financial services denied making any changes to cibil and said that loan is still active.

Strangely Both credit fair and avanse financial services had opened two loans in my name. Creditfair closed the account after emailing them in 2025 but Avanse financial services only gave NOC after reporting to their Level 2 greviance officer but they have still not updated in cibil and still marking late payments in credit bureau.

Community let me know what should I do, I am not happy and feeling dejected because of fake reporting my cibil dropped 250 points and Avanse financial services is not even accepting dispute raised in credit bureau saying still loan is active after NOC.

Pls provide me something water tight solution

Approch RBI Ombudsman
They have also shown false debit and credit in the loan account statement and also false part payment and false bounce charges received.

Is there anything else which can be done parallel with rbi ombudsman.

I really want to know if it is reasonable and financially viable for me to approach consumer court via an advocate

After Banking PNO, nect step is to approch RBIO. You can share the NOCs available with you.
There is also Consumer Grievance portal online, you can try that as well
