Flight student offer using Offer letter

Hi all, I am about to take admission into IIT Guwahati on July 22nd and I am planning to travel by flight on July 19 or 20. My doubt is if I can book my flight as a student as it will allow me to carry extra 10kg of luggage instead of just 15KG adding up to 25 KG. I don't have my college Id card yet, As I am gng to take admission but not yet admitted. I only have an offer letter of admission from College.

You can use that and get it confirmed by airlines customer support.
