Easiest way is become a salary account holder
Most of the banks offer multiple benefits to their salary account holders (ofcourse because of continuous inflow of money on a fixed date every month, banks just love this)
HDFC salary account benefits:
No average balance requirement
Free debit card
Credit card offers within 3 months
Accidental insurance
SBI has started offering Virtual Debit Cards for zero fee
Although I'm not sure if they provide that in platinum
Most probably it's based on the type of account you're holding with them and the variant of your current debit card
