Yes, it can be done, I got my first HDFC card the same way back in 2023.
Complete offline application.

- They haven't asked my order card statement they just I what I claim is listed in CIBIL or not.
- Multiple telephonic verifications and offline KYC later got the card.

To begin with im no expert .I can tell you from my personal experience.
I have 3 hdfc cards regalia gold, biz black and tata neu infinity.
I first got a moneyback card by applying online put some spends on it and in 6 months got offered tata neu.
After a year i applied for biz black as floater and got it.Recently got upgrade from moneyback to regalia gold.

My advise
Choose any of the Ltf cards on offer now and apply online. millenia is a good card to start with.Once u use it for a while and put some spends onnit u will get upgrade offers.
If u find hdfc swiggy or tata neu card better suited u can apply for them.
No hard and fast rules with hdfc! Each one has their own journey.
If u have an account with hdfc u can try offline and ask ur rm to track it for you.

Yeah you can try fr Millennia on C2C basis through agent. It should have decent limit and at least one year old. Bt give your details to a genuine agent don't feel prey to scam.

I have hdfc millenia card since October 2022. I requested bank to convert it LTF in Feb 2024. I applied for and got YATA NEU INFINITY card in April 24. Despite having good usage and timely payments and having my salary account in HDFC Bank, I am not getting upgrade offer on millennia card after usage of 26 months. Am I missing anything? What should I do for upgrade.?

Don't run after upgrades. More you run, they will deny. If your spends is good then threaten to shift your salary a/c to ICICI or Axis in case they are not upgrading to Regalia Gold or whatever you want.

You applied for paid bizblack or LTF ?

Paid.My usage is high so ltf didnt matter.Its difficult to get biz black ltf.
