Help regarding credit card rejection

Earlier I got a pre-approved credit card offer from Axis Bank. But I did not take it because in the same month I had applied for HDFC and SBI cards and I did not want to raise CIBIL enquiries. But now Axis Bank is rejecting my credit card application. I tried 3-4 times. I even tried applying for an entry level card like Indian Oil Credit Card but that too was rejected. What should I do now? Any trick/Idea

Did you get hdfc and sbi cards for which you ditched axis card??

Anyway, when did you try last applying for axis card.
I would recommend to wait for at least 90 days before you apply again, else you will end up with useless enquiries.

Apply for Axis Neo first. If your CIBIL is good, you will get it easily then after 3 months you can apply for any other card of Axis on existing limit, approved without any CIBIL hot.

Yes. I got both. HDFC Tata neu and SBI cashback.
After that I also got the ICICI credit card. Only Axis people are rejecting it.

Apply for Axis Neo first. If your CIBIL is good, you will get it easily then after 3 months you can apply for any other card of Axis on existing limit, approved without any CIBIL hot.

I had also applied for Axis Neo Card but that too was rejected. CIBIL was 770. No late payment. Still they rejected it. When I asked the reason, they told me that they rejected my application because it doesn't meet bank's credit norms.

If it's more than 90 days then you may try again.
If you want to know the reason, email them to provide the real reason for rejecting your card or provide the card. Tell them you will file a complaint in RBI ombudsman if they don't give you the reason. Most probably they will tell you the reason.
