Unprecedented Credit card security issue with ICICI Bank!
Random bank customer got access to to newly issued (17000 in total) cards in their iMobile app. They got access to manage and also see full details of other peoples card.
Bank has currently disabled card management section in iMobile app.
My mom used to say don't trust private banks. Now I see why. I guess new tech can't replace old wisdom.
I'm surprised on Infosys and ICICI Bank how did they let this happen. Did they allow freshers to push untested code in production
?
I currently have 3 credit cards with ICICI. Fingers crossed.
