IDBI Bank provides electronic payment options for the Indian market.
Mainly there are 3 ways in which you can make electronic payments with IDBI Bank - RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS. Before moving forward, it's important to understand the differences between the 3 modes;
RTGS/NEFT/IMPS Transfer with IDBI Bank:
There are two ways to initiate an RTGS / NEFT/ IMPS transfer with IDBI Bank:

RTGS/NEFT/IMPS Transfer with IDBI Bank:
There are two ways to initiate an RTGS / NEFT/ IMPS transfer with IDBI Bank:
- Offline submission /In Branch Request (FOR RTGS/NEFT)
- Mobile Banking (FOR RTGS /NEFT /IMPS).
Step 1: Download and Complete the Form
- Download the IDBI RTGS Form (in PDF format). This same form will be provided to you if you choose to initiate the transfer through an in-branch request. We have attached a copy of the same form in this post for your ease.
- Print a clear copy of the downloaded form.
- Fill out the form completely and accurately. How to fill up the form is mentioned below
- Start by writing your branch name and date.
- Then tick the type of fund transfer you want to have(DD/NEFT/RTGS)
- Write the payable at (place) and the beneficiary name, address, account number, account type, bank, and IFSC code.
- Write the amount you need to transfer, add the charges accordingly, and total the amount you have to pay.
- Also, write the total amount in words and mention the type and number of note denominations you are giving if you are transferring via cash.
- If you want to pay by cheque or through your account balance, tick the option and fill in your details(cheque/account number) accordingly.
- Remember to read the terms and conditions and write your name, PAN number, address, phone number, email ID(Optional), and purpose of remittance.
- Thoroughly read the form again and sign the form.
Step 2: Submit the Form at Your Branch
- Visit your nearest IDBI Bank branch.
- Submit the completed NEFT/RTGS form along with any required identification documents to a bank teller or customer service representative.
- Once your request is processed, the funds will be transferred to the beneficiary's account.
- Login to your account via the 4-digit MPIN.
- On the home screen, under your account number, there is a transfer button. Click on it.
- Now go to the payees option and select if you want to do fund transfers within the bank or NEFT/IMPS/Card payments to other banks.
- Click on NEFT payment and add the payee option.
- Now, enter the beneficiary’s name, account number, IFSC code, account number, and nickname.
- Click on continue and enter the OTP to add the payee successfully.
- There is a similar way for IMPS payment but you can choose between IFSC code or MMID.
- Beneficiaries will be added in an hour.
- Now, go back to the transfer option and select as required.
- For IMPS payment, select if you want to transfer via IFSC code or MMID, and enter your and beneficiary’s details.
- Click on continue and verify via OTP to successfully transfer the amount.
