  1. IB Corp SB - Payroll Package Scheme:
    1. Designed for salaried classes with features like free mobile and internet banking.
    2. Offers 60 cheque leaves, 2 free RTGS/NEFT transactions monthly, and zero balance requirement.
  2. IB Mahila Shakti for Women:
    1. Requires Aadhaar linking and offers overdraft facility.
    2. Provides RuPay Platinum Card at no extra cost.
  3. SB Platinum:
    1. Designed for HNIs and corporate executives with sweep facility.
    2. Provides life insurance and Personal Accident cover free of charge.
    3. Allows conversion of excess funds to Term Deposit daily.
  4. IB DIGI - Online SB Account:
    1. Resident individuals above 18 years can open online.
    2. Allows adding nominees online, no joint account option.
  5. IB Smart Kid SB Account:
    1. Specifically for children, allowing fund transfers from parents' accounts.
    2. Children above 10 may get an Indian Bank ATM debit card and internet banking.
  6. SB for Government Offices & IND PFMS:
    1. Provides free cheque book and SMS alerts.
    2. No minimum balance requirement and service charges are free.
  7. Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account:
    1. No minimum balance required and offers intercity/intracity transactions free of charge.
    2. Provides an ATM card and allows adding nominees to the account.
  8. IB Gen X - For the Vibrant Youth:
    1. No charges for IMPS/RTGS/NEFT transactions.
    2. Provides a Demant Account for the first year at no extra cost.
  9. Savings Bank Account for Pensioners:
    1. EPF/Central/State pensioners can open with cheque book facility.
    2. Provides mobile and internet banking with no account closure charges.
  10. MACT SB:
    1. No minimum balance required and withdrawals via Bio-Metric authentication.
    2. Money transfer requires the Court's permission, no debit card provided.
  11. Small Account:
    1. No monthly balance requirement with a maximum balance limit of Rs.50,000.
    2. Allows joint accounts and is suitable for individuals.
  12. IB Kishore - Savings Bank Account for Minors:
    1. Initial deposit of Rs.500, no chequebook provided.
    2. Offers a RuPay Classic ATM card for minors aged 10 to 18.
  13. SB for Govt Scholarship Students :
    1. No minimum balance requirement and two different variants available.
    2. Does not offer cheque book facility.
  14. IB Salaam - Special Account for Defence Personnel:
    1. No minimum balance requirement and free mobile/internet banking.
    2. No initial deposit needed for individuals above 18 years.
  15. Savings Bank Account:
    1. Basic account with multiple facilities like fund transfer and free ATM debit cards.
    2. Offers 2 free cheque books per calendar year and 50 free withdrawals every half year.
  16. IB - Sammaan:
    1. Account for individuals above 60 years with no minimum balance requirement.
    2. No charges for account closure and provides free SMS alerts.
Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled for the Indian Bank SB account opening:
  • An individual of 18 years and above – Single or Sole Accounts
  • Two or more individuals of 18 years and above – Joint Accounts
  • Illiterate persons
  • Blind persons
  • Associations, Clubs
  • Trusts
  • HUF
  • Institutions/Agencies/ Societies/Government Departments permitted by RBI
Documents Required for Online Account Opening:

Any one of the following:
  • Aadhar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Drivers licence
  • Voter ID Card
  • Job Card by NREGA
The process to Open an Indian Bank Account Online?
  • Open the India Bank Account Opening link from your browser.
  • Enter your name, mobile number, and Email ID, and verify that you’re a human, not a robot.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions and the declaration.
  • Click on Submit and then verify using an OTP sent to your mobile number.
  • Enter your Aadhar number and then again verify using OTP.
  • Verify and recheck your details and add your branch name and other personal details as asked.
  • You will get a popup next and then click on it to add/edit more details.
  • Now, add additional features as needed.
  • Add your nominee details if you want to add any and click on next.
  • Now, proceed to your Video KYC, which you can schedule as needed.
  • You will get your other information regarding the following steps by your KYC agent and your bank account will open.

Minimum Average Monthly Balance (MAB) Requirement for Each Account:

The minimum Average Monthly Balance (MAB) requirement for each account is as follows:

Urban Centers: The charges for non-maintenance of Average Monthly Balance (AMB) in Metro Urban centers have been reduced from Rs 50 to Rs 15.
Semi-Urban and Rural Centers: The charges for non-maintenance of AMB in Semi-Urban and Rural centers have been reduced from Rs 40 to Rs 12.
