Karur Vysya Bank provides many electronic payment options for Indian Customers.

Mainly there are 3 ways in which you can make electronic payments with Karur Vysya Bank - RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS. Before moving forward, it's important to understand the differences between the 3 modes;

RTGS/NEFT/IMPS Transfer with Bharat Bank:

There are two ways to initiate an RTGS / NEFT/ IMPS transfer with Karur Vysya Bank:
  1. Offline submission /In Branch Request (FOR RTGS/NEFT)
  2. Mobile Banking (FOR RTGS /NEFT /IMPS).

Step 1:
Download and Complete the Form
  • Download the attached NEFT/RTGS form (in PDF format). This same form will be provided to you if you choose to initiate the transfer through an in-branch request. We have attached a copy of the same form to this post for your ease.
  • Print a clear copy of the downloaded form.

  • Write the branch name, IFSC code, and today’s date.
  • Proceeding, enter your name, account type, account number, customer ID, mobile number, amount to be transferred, bank charges, total amount, PAN number, and your signature.
  • Now, on the right box, write the beneficiary name, city, branch name and address, IFSC code, account number, type, customer ID, mobile number.
  • Now, skip the next boxes to the Acknowledgement, where you need to write your name, amount, account number, beneficiary name, bank, branch, city, IFSC code, beneficiary account number, date and time.
  • Remember to recheck and also read the terms and conditions before.
Step 2: Submit the Form at Your Branch
  • Visit your nearest Karur Vysya Bank branch.
  • Submit the completed NEFT/RTGS form along with any required identification documents to a bank teller or customer service representative.
  • Once your request is processed, the funds will be transferred to the beneficiary's account.
Mobile Banking (Karur Vysya Bank Mobile App)
  • Open and log on to the KVB-D Lite banking application.
  • On the home screen, click on the transfer funds option, other bank accounts, and add a new payee.
  • Enter the beneficiary details and register the payee successfully.
  • Now, go back to the transfer funds page, and select the newly registered payee. enter the amount, payment type(IMPS/NEFT/RTGS) and click on transfer.
  • Recheck and confirm using MPIN to complete the transaction.
Conclusion - When to use what?
  • For urgent, high-value transfers: Use RTGS if speed is critical and the amount is substantial. Be aware of minimum transfer limits and potential fees.
  • For routine transfers and bill payments: NEFT is a convenient and cost-effective option for transfers within India, although it's not real-time.
  • For small, urgent transfers: IMPS is ideal for immediate transfers of smaller amounts, even on holidays. Be mindful of potential maximum limits and fees.
