A month ago, I have asked for how to get my first credit card when I don't even have a CIBIL score. You guys helped me achieve that. Now I am in dire need of a credit card with minimum limit of 1.5 lakh. I don't have this amount to even get an FD credit card. I am an MTech student with monthly stipend of 12,400. Only thing I have for now is a CIBIL score of 772. I need this really badly for buying a course very important to me. Please help me with this.

CIBIL score is generally used to assess the creditworthiness, which can influence the approval or rejection of credit card/Loan application. However, the credit limit you receive is typically based on factors like your income details, bank transaction history, and account balance. So, having a high CIBIL score doesn’t necessarily guarantee a higher credit limit. But, you might want to consider applying for an Axis Bank credit card—they often offer higher credit limits to new customers compared to other banks, based on my personal experience. 🙄

Given your situation, I’d recommend exploring options like borrowing money from family or friends, or applying for an education loan to pursue this very important course. It’s a big step, but it could really make a difference for your future! 🤗

You won't get 1.5 lakhs limit from any bank without income itr above 12-15 lakhs. If you have parents with high income you apply card in their name. Now a days cards are not offering rewards or cashback on education spends more over they charge extra charges above 30-50K spend in month
1) get card with high earning person in family
2) get 2 lakhs fd and get 1.5 limit card
3) if you mtech from IITs or top tier check icici alumini shaparrio card

I got my first credit card (Axis Flipkart) when my salary was 18k, then my CC limit was 31k...now after 9 months my CC limit has increased to 1.2 lakhs.
For a CC limit of 1.5 lakhs your income should be good enough...it is difficult to get 1.5 lakhs limit in the beginning with so much stipend.

I have only 1 Lakh CL, even after good salary.
Limit usually increases with auto limit enhancement offers.
