If someone has active HSBC Salary account then there is campaign going on since early 2023 till Jan 2025 that if payment from HSBC debit card is made for certain categories then you get 5% unlimited cashback. Utility MCC is not excluded. I got to know very recently though I have HSBC salary account for years now.. the cashback are credited after 2 months. I have made transactions a few days back and I hope to get cashback. I called the customer care number as well who confirmed that the transaction is eligible. So if you pay the credit card bill from any website which gets counted as Utility one should get 5%. SBI Unipay had utility MCC earlier...I am not sure if it has now.
