For electricity Distribution , Gujarat is distributed into 4 parts:-
- Ugvcl (Uttar Gujarat vij Company Limited)
- Dgvcl (Dakshin Gujarat vij Company Limited )
- Mgvcl(Madhya Gujarat vij Company Limited )
- Pgvcl (Paschim Gujarat vij Company Limited )
And for Bill Payment and Bill download there are 2 ways:-
- Through e - Vidhyut Seva portal - https://portal.guvnl.in/login.php
- Through online payments App ( Gpay ,Phonepe, Paytm , etc )
Electricity Bill Payment through e-Vidhyut seva portal
Step 1:- Click on the Link provided, it will take you to the e-Vidhyut Seva Portal ( https://portal.guvnl.in/login.php )
Step 2:- Now type in your mobile number and your electricity provider ( UGVCL,DGVCL,MGVCL,PGVCL)
Step 3:- complete the OTP verification
Step 4:- A home page will open , select the Payment option
Step 5:- Now complete the Payment Process and your electricity payment would be completed
Electricity Bill Payment through Online Payments App
Step 1:- Open any app of your choice ( Google Pay, Phonepe, Paytm)
Step 2:- Look for the section related to recharges and bill payments.
Step 3:- Within the recharge and bill payment section, find the option for "Electricity."
Step 4:- From the list of electricity providers select your specific electricity supplier (UGVCL,DGVCL,MGVCL,PGVCL)
Step 5:- Enter your consumer number, which can be found on your electricity bill.
Step 6:- Click on Fetch Bill option to retrieve your bill information.
Step 7:- Once your bill details appear on the screen, proceed to the payment section.
Step 8:- Choose your preferred payment method from the available options.
Step 9:- Enter any required payment details for your chosen method.
Step 10:- Confirm payment page appears
