Documents Required for registration

This scheme is constituted for pregnant women and lactating mothers must submit documents like KYC- PAN card, Aadhar of women and her husband, cast certificate, domicile certificate, income certificate, bank account details, Passport size photo, and Mobile number. Upon submission of the above documents, a notification will be sent to the applicant's registered mobile number.

Eligibility Criteria

This scheme targets those women who are citizens of India, older than 19 years and exclusively pregnant and expecting mothers. This scheme is valid for women to support two living children. The applicant women should have lost wages due to pregnancy. This scheme is eligible under the PMMVY scheme within 270 days from childbirth.

PMMVY Registration Process

To register for this scheme, the following steps must be taken:
  • The applicant must visit the website: pmmvy.wcd.gov.in.

  • The applicant needs to enter a valid mobile number to verify the number through OTP.
  • The user needs to fill in the registration form with the necessary details and upload all the documents.

Criteria for economically weaker sections that are eligible for this scheme:
  • This scheme is eligible for women belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

  • This scheme is eligible for women holding MGNREGA job cards.
  • This scheme is eligible for those pregnant women whose net family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
  • This scheme is also available for women who are benefitted from Kisan Samman Nidhi.
