I currently hold mutual funds in Statement of Account (SOA) format and would like to transfer them to my Demat account. I would appreciate it if you could guide me through the exact procedure for converting my SOA mutual fund holdings into Demat format.

Confirm with your broker that your Demat account allows mutual fund holdings. Get a Conversion Request Form from your DP, provide details like your DP ID, Client ID, and folio numbers of the mutual funds you want to convert. Attach required documents like PAN Card, Client Master List from your DP, Latest Statement of Account (SOA). Submit the filled CRF and documents to your DP and your DP will send the request to the RTA for processing. Once processed, your mutual fund units will reflect in your Demat account.
