Queries Regarding Club Vistara Membership

Hi everyone,
Recently I boarded my first flight with Vistara Airlines. There, I came to know about club vistara membership. I was fascinated by the idea and dived deep into the details. I came to know about the different tiers of membership and their benefits.

But there were some doubts regarding this, like

0. Does the membership is availed through normal registration or is it like... We can get a club Vistara affiliated credit card like Axis Bank's or idfc bank's and we are now a member of club Vistara.
1. Who should opt for the membership.
2. Is there any benefit from these types of memberships in day to day life.
3. How does the tier system works... Like if one is at base tier or silver tier... What aree the criteria for him or her to promote to platinum or gold tier.
4. How practical this membership or card is

0. You can sign up via their website to start from the base tier
1. For anyone who flies using Vistara (soon to be merged with Air India) - they don't charge for the membership
2. Depends on your lifestyle, but higher tiers enjoy priority boarding/more luggage allowance/class upgrades/bonus vistara points etc.
3. Best to check their website, clearly outlined there.
4. Very practical if you fly with them occasionally->frequently
