Rules for Zero dep cover.

I am buying a second hand car which is around 6 years old.
The insurance is expired as of now. So i am planning to get an insurance with Zero Dep cover.
I have read some places that Zero dep is only provided to 5 year old cars, zero dep cannot be claimed if the previous policy does not have zero dep add on.

But at the same time i checked multiple insurers which are providing the zero dep and other add ons. So wondering if i get the insurance with zero dep will my claim will be passed or any concerns may arise during claims?

Check with the customer care to get a confirmation. Generally it is only for first 5 years of the vehicle. But if you are able to see it for your car then best to check before buying the insurance.
