SBI SimplySAVE RuPay Credit Card LTF Offer: Genuine or Not?

I received a call from an agent saying I am eligible for the SBI SimplySAVE RuPay Credit Card as a Lifetime Free offer. When I said that SBI usually doesn’t provide LTF cards, the agent explained that this is a CIBIL-based offer. He also assured me that I would receive an email confirming the LTF benefit once I complete the KYC process.

Has anyone else received such an offer? Should I apply for the card, or are they not being truthful?

LTF after KYC. Means you are being scammed.
They are giving you fake information just to hit their sales target.

Don't entertain such calls from SBI ... ..If you need a SBI card apply from you net banking website or customer care... don't do that...cause many agents will guide you with false information to achieve their goals

SBI Simply Save and SBI Simply Click credit cards are offered as Lifetime Free (LTF) for select customers. This offer applies to government and certain corporate employees, as well as some SBI account holders with high Net Relationship Value (NRV). You can visit the nearest SBI branch with offline credit card agents who will check the eligibility criteria for obtaining the card as LTF.

Regarding the call you got, the agent will apply and determine if you qualify for the LTF card but to force you to apply for it he will say its LTF. If you do qualify, the agent will confirm it as LTF. If it turns out to be a paid card, the agent may suggest using it for a year and then closing it, or meeting a certain spending threshold to convert it to LTF.
