Hey Community Members! 👋 Need your opinion—should I upgrade my HDFC Millennia to Regalia Gold or stick with Millennia? Confused about the benefits. Help me to decide.

Current Card: HDFC Millennia
5% cashback on Amazon/Flipkart/Zomato/Swiggy
1% unlimited cashback on other spends
No joining/renewal fees (LTF for me)
Lounge access only on spends

Upgrade Offer: HDFC Regalia Gold
4 Reward Points/₹150 (≈1.3-2% return)
Domestic & intl. lounge access
Golf lessons, travel vouchers, etc.
No joining/renewal fees (LTF for me)

My Usage:
- Monthly spends: ~₹5-15K (online shopping, dining, grocery)
- Never visited airport so never used lounge access
- Prefer **cashback** over reward points (hate redemption hassles!)

My Questions are:
- Have anyone used both cards and Which gave better value?
- Is Regalia Gold worth it if I don’t care much for lounges?
- Should I opt for LTF Regalia Gold over LTF Millennia?
Help Me to Decide.
Thanks 🙏

Stick with HDFC Millennia if you prefer cashback and simplicity. Upgrade to Regalia Gold only if you start valuing travel/luxury perks later.

Millennia (LTF) Pros:

5% real cashback on Amazon/Flipkart/Zomato/Swiggy is great for your usage pattern (online shopping, food).

1% flat on everything else, directly credited—no redemption hassle.

Since it's LTF, you're getting max value with minimal effort.

Regalia Gold (LTF) Pros:

Good if you travel often (lounge access, airport offers, golf, birthday perks).

Reward rate is around 1.3–2% if you redeem points smartly (e.g., for flights or vouchers).

But: reward point system needs tracking, patience, and can expire if not use

🤔 Your Usage Summary:

Low to moderate monthly spend (₹5–15K) — not enough to fully leverage premium card perks.

No travel = lounge access is useless right now.

Cashback
ck lover = Millennia suits your style

My Recommendation:

Stick with HDFC Millennia for now.
But accept the Regalia Gold upgrade if:

It's LTF (you lose nothing)

You want to build credit history

You plan to travel in the next 1–2 years
You can keep both cards active and use Millennia for cashback and Regalia Gold for perks if your lifestyle changes.
