Can one can by a super topup without the need of a base plan.
As there is a deductible limit to use the super top up, if one is ready to pay the deductible limit out of his own pocket then can he directly buy a super top up plan without the need of a base plan

yes you can have super topup without a base plan. You can pay the deductible from your pocket as well.

Better to take a health plan with deductible. Super topup is not the proper solution for full fledged health insurance for present and future time. If really financial crisis is there then without having any policy better to have one super topup plan.

Please understand that although super top up plans may be cheap but they come with a lot of limitations (room rent limit, no restoration benefit, Zero No Claim bonus, Deductibles, etc). Also, from what I've noticed if you just go for a super top up plan (without the base plan) the insurance company will be very strict since you're getting high cover for low premium
