I got HDFC Tata Neucard Infinity Card 2 months ago and credit limit of that card has combined with my HDFC Millennia card.

I don't want both of these cards share the credit limit, i love Tata Neu infinity because of it's features and I also want HDFC Millennia which is carrying my credit history of 5.5 years.

How can I get those card have different credit limits ?

How does having separate limit help? Just curious.

I will have those two cards as it is but also my total credit limit will increase. So even if I make big purchases, credit utilisation will be under 30% or near to that.
This will keep credit score in control.
Why do you think so? SBI normally gives you another card but gives you a choice to carve out a limit from existing limit to different limits but total limit remains the same on 2 cards. So if that is done it does not help either. But keeping one shared limit helps you to use the limit on any of the card where you find it beneficial. Say you have cashback card and Simplyclick card and shared limit of 2lakhs. You want to make a big electronic purchase online where you use 1lakh from cashback card and at the same time use 1 lakh on Simplyclick for any other offer. But if they give you just 60k in cashback card and 1.4lakh on Simplyclick you won't benefit much. Banks may not want to take too much exposure on someone hence they take overall exposure within which they give multiple cards.
