Check your PAN details from income tax portal.
the PAN details are correct. i'm sure. but is there any way to go back and edit the detail? the name and dob was auto fetched even before entering the PAN numberYou have to first update name on PAN if anything wrong, or update once if there is any glitch
Usually when PAN details are fetched there won't be any name mismatch. I called on the customer care number. but unable to speak with the customer care executive. there were 2 options for credit card holders and 2nd is for don't have credit card. i choose option 2. the call was ended saying "we will reach out to you soon". but didn't get any updates from them. i dropped an email but no reply
