Upi Refund misused - Linen Applied

I want to share a recent incident.

On 28th June 2025, I ordered clothing items from an youtube seller and made full payment via UPI. After a week of no updates and poor communication, the seller finally informed me that the items were out of stock.
(Genuine Seller , I have bought before)

They were refusing to refund, and asking me to take another design that I don't want.
After multiple follow-ups and warning them of legal action, they refunded the amount via UPI. I transferred the amount to my other account immediately.

However, on 8th July 2025, I noticed a **lien amount on my bank account**, marked as **“wrong credit.”** After contacting customer care, I found that the **seller had falsely reported the refund as a mistaken transaction** to their bank, causing the lien.

**I am now going to submit all the proofs to my bank** to get this resolved.

**This is a clear misuse of the system by the seller. I’m sharing this to make others cautious while dealing with online sellers. Always keep records and be alert.**
