First of all I'm also against FDs.

But in my situation it is important to make FD because I can't afford any risk and I have a large amount (>50 lakhs), so it's my humble request to all of you - @TaxWiser @zacobite @nikhilchauhan @The INSANE Trader @anuragmukherjee28 @ShavirB , to suggest me which one FD will be best for my monthly payout for the long term as below mentioned.

Option 1 : FD in HDFC for the 55 months period which is giving 7.40% interest but as I want monthly payout it decreases to 7.35% and It will be for next 9 year 2 months simultaneously.

Option 2 : FD in SBI for the 444 days period which is giving 7.25% interest but as I want monthly payout might it will also decrease (I don't know how much) and It will be also for next 10 years simultaneously.

Which one should I choose and why just need a reply in 5 lines.

Put FDs and in Liquid Funds
Upto 5 L in SFBs as well ( per sfb)
POMIS is also an option
Monthly bank fds may not be the best option.. atleast do qtrly
Spread more to avoid tds ( above 40k p. a interest will lead to tds per bank)

wherever you are getting the best interest , take it ,so in this case FD in HDFC seems to be a better option for you

According to me going with option 1 is better because in FD we have to see the returns because no other tension is their in FDs.

Should I also consider Kotak Mahindra Bank ? It's giving higher interest than both and have small tenure than HDFC.
When I get confused seeing their returns I compare the company among themselves you can use this technique too...compare which company is fundamentally strong go for it.
