Not true. Depends on type of RuPay variant. Safe to assume most of cards of RuPay Platinum and above offer.

Any Rupay platinum or select card will have lounge access. It is best if you get Rupay card as LTF. In most cases Banks themselves are offering LTF Rupay cards to the customers holding account with them. Like ICICI, Indusind, IDFC etc. Would recommend checking with the bank where you have a good long term relationship with to get the LTF rupay cards as the first option.
