So the mutual fund expense ratio is calculated on top of the expense ratio for gold etf. Example if etf expense ratio is 0.5 and mutual fund expense ratio is also 0.5 then cumulative expense ratio turns out to be 0.525 which is slightly more than the expense ratio of gold etf
So expense ratio of mutual fund might be visibly low, in reality it is slightly more than that of etf
