WYLD Card Shark Tank: Pros and Cons

WYLD Card Shark Tank: Pros and Cons
  • The WYLD card, as you have seen in the shark tank, is a social currency payment card powered by Visa.
  • WYLD is a prepaid card with an account number already added to it. You need to add money to your WYLD card from any bank account, and you’re good to go.
WHATS NEW:
  • When you get the WYLD card, you also get access to the WYLD app.
  • The WYLD app opens the door for everyday social media users to leverage their Instagram presence and earn significant cashback on their daily purchases.
  • If you have a good following on Instagram, you can use the WYLD app to make a purchase from the partnered brands.
  • Then, simply share a picture of yourself using the product and tag both the brand and the WYLD card in your post. By doing this, you'll be eligible for cashback ranging from 30% to 100%, which will be credited directly to your WYLD card account.
  • Now you can spend the amount anywhere with the help of a WYLD prepaid card (for online orders, restaurant bills, or offline store purchases).
CARD FEES:
  • one-time payment of 600 rupees.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF THE CARD:
  1. You basically need to have 1000+ followers on Instagram.
  2. Min. WYLD Score of 100 (main factor)
  3. Min. 10 posts or reels on the page
  4. Age: 18+

  6. Meme accounts, fan pages, and blog pages shall be disallowed.
  7. Credit score (it is not of much importance)
(Please note that meeting the criteria mentioned above is the minimum requirement for eligibility, but it doesn't guarantee approval.)

WYLD SCORE:
  • The WYLD Score is a rating between 0 and 1000 that measures your social media authenticity, creativity, and engagement, determining your rewards with the WYLD card.
  • Your WYLD score is calculated based on multiple parameters, some of which include:
    • Follower Count: Yeah, numbers matter—but they aren't everything!
    • Engagement: Likes, shares, and DMs, oh my!
    • Content Quality: Give us that top-tier content.
    • Follower Quality: Authentic followers = more social juice.
    • Frequency of posts and others.
WYLD SCORE vs. CASHBACK
  • 100–200: 30% on posts and 15% on stories
  • 200–300: 30% on posts and 15% on stories
  • 300–400: 40% on posts and 20% on stories
  • 400–500: 50% on posts and 25% on stories
  • 500–600: 60% on posts and 30% on stories
  • 600–700: 70% on posts and 35% on stories
  • 700–800: 80% on posts and 40% on stories
  • 800-900: 90% on posts and 45% on stories
  • 900–1000: 100% on posts and 50% on stories
And the WYLD score is refreshed every 15 days, and whatever your updated score is, and you will get discounts as per the above-mentioned data.

DRAWBACKS:
  • These cards often require active social media engagement and content creation, which can be time-consuming and pressure-inducing.
  • Authenticity may be doubtful as the influencer can just praise the product for the extra money, which can lead to the rise of false advertising.
  • Focusing on influencer rewards could lead to unnecessary purchases.
  • This card would only be used by nano or micro influencers, as no big creator would promote something for such a small product amount, resulting in limited reliability.
OVERALL VERDICT:
This card is relatively new to the market and unique, and I have never seen anything like it before, so if you get your hands on it, then you should take it and try it, and the benefits are really great if you are a nano or micro influencer.
