Contact your branch manager.
Most bank does this, it happened with me also in Punjab national bank then I complaint to the ABM and the canceled it but I didn't got the refund

I think you should continue with this policy, PMJJBY as well as PMSBY. This both are very good Government Life Insurance Policy with just a nominal premium.

Further your money your choice, but this is much better than traditional LIC policy's atleast.

And yes if you have separate Term Insurance (not a Term+Investment) then you can go and cancel your policy.

Complaint to grievance officer or nodal officer. The same happened with me in SBI; they refunded the amount after the complaint to LHO

For this you should go to concerned branch with application to exit PMJJBY.By doing this further contributions will be stopped.money refunds only if you exit the PMJJBY in free look up period which is 15 days.otherwise only next contributions will be cancel.

If you Signed the Insurance application form-NO otherwise you can complain to customer grievances portal online,money will be refunded by the branch.

When they give the bank account opening form then I don't think there is any form like that . But when I complain about this to rbi ombudsman,the SBI told that I have already signed the consent form ,which I don't remember. Can I ask for this form from bank if yes how.

You can ask anything related to your account.write a polite application to show the records ( some nominal fees will be charged to show old records).keep a copy of it,in case they refuse or tell you to come another day,get this copy stamped by them and keep it safe with you.this will help you in case you need to complain in RBI Ombudsman in near future.
