they said for giftcard purchase you won't get 1%. it's excluded. i said via smartbuy i should receive 1%

Smart buy transactions come under other spends so it should give 1%. I used to do this on my mb+ and got 5% as well as the base reward points. This was when there were no charges on gift cards. Haven't tried on the Swiggy card as I have recently got it.

customer care told me that gift card purchase are excluded even if you buy from smartbuy.
