Currently, SBI is issuing the SBI Cashback Credit Card (Joining & Renewal Fees: ₹999 + GST) without requiring any income proof documents. You may consider applying for this card, or alternatively, explore LTF CCs like Axis Neo, Axis MyZone, ICICI Coral, or Amazon ICICI (which is very difficult to obtain). Non-LTF CCs such as Tata Neu HDFC Credit Card and Swiggy HDFC Credit Card can also be an option.
Note: Choose the CC wisely analyzing your spending habits & Begin with the bank where you currently hold a savings/current account.

Axis Neo, Axis My Zone, Amazon Pay Icici credit card are lifetime free. ICICI sometimes offers Coral and other variants are Lifetime Free.

If you are a beginner, Try any pre approved BASIC card in HDFC, ICICI,SBI..

Go for any LTF card if that's the entire purpose...or go for cashback card if you wanna save some bucks on shopping but that will charge you yearly fee
