15g information

Please let me know if filling form 15G is a must if I already fall in 30% tax bracket and I have different FD incomes ?

One should not file Form 15G, if one is holding a PAN and having a income above the tax limit (2,50,000/-)
Its advisable to quote PAN with Bank/NBFC for getting the Interest net of tax, the tax deducted will be reflected in your 26AS, and you can claim the same while filling your ITR.
Further if you think you can skip the income from the records of Govt by not furnishing the PAN, then your mistaken, the new AIS/TIS helps the government to collate all the details and furnish the same.
