A lot of folks still rely on Cash for their everyday needs and finding an ATM is not always the easiest task. Though we keep hearing stories of how Digital Payments have taken the center stage and have already taken over cash transactions, Cash is still the King with more than 60% share in total transactions (volume wise). Under these circumstances ATMs become really important and finding an ATM becomes a superpower.

A lot of times we tend to forget the location of the ATM where we did our last transaction. But there are certain ways by which you can retrieve this information. In this post we will share 5 such ways.

1) Using ATM ID in ATM Slip

Step 1: For this you will need the slip you would’ve received during your Last ATM transaction.

Step 2: If you’re able to successfully locate that slip, you’ll notice an ID on the top right corner of the slip. Sometimes it's also called the ATM Number. It’ll look something like this on the Slip.

Step 3: Once you’ve located this slip, this is what you should do to find out the exact location of the ATM

Step 4: Call Customer Care and mention the ATM ID to them. All ATMs are allocated unique IDs for identification.

Step 5: Customer Care Rep will check the database and confirm the exact location of the ATM.

2) Internet Banking

5) Passbook

If calling up Customer Care doesn’t work, you can simply walk to your nearest branch along with your updated Passbook. You can simply share the transaction details, and they’ll happily inform the ATM location.
