There seems to be some confusion in the tracking of Credit Card Application for IDFC First Bank. Through this Post i’ll list down 2 methods (Online and Offline) to track your IDFC Credit Card Status
Online Method
Step 1: Visit the official IDFC website and visit Credit Card Status under the Credit Card Section. Or you can directly visit the link : ***********.idfcfirstbank.com/credit-card/track-my-application
Step 2: If you have your Application Number then you can simply enter the same in the 3rd column but please remember for this method to work your Application MUST be registered to your current mobile number.
Alternatively you can also enter your Date of Birth and Registered Mobile Number..
Step 3: In the next step, you’ll have to verify using OTP sent on registered Mobile Number..
Step 4: As soon as you verify, the Bank will send an SMS and an Email with your latest Application Status.
In case this method doesn't work out for you. You can still track your application offline
You can either reach out to IDFC Customer Care at 1800-10-888, this is a toll free 24x7 number, after calling you can provide them with the reference number of your application and your registered mobile number.
Or you can reach out to the nearest Bank Branch and get in touch with the authorized person at the Branch. Please be careful that even the Branch folks would in turn use the online solution provided above, so make sure that you’ve thoroughly checked online before opting for this method. And, in case you decide to opt for the Branch Method, please keep your Application Number, ID Proof handy..
