No. I think only one payment option will work. You can't club 2 payment options to pay for insurance payment.
No more. Earlier we could but Amazon made changes and now apay balance cannot be clubbed with with any other payment option. But what you could do is buy gift cards worth 70k by prepaying the Amazon card prior to bill generation. Say you buy 35k worth of gift card using Apay and clear the card balance. Then buy 35k worth gift card again. However, note that there are limits to how much gift card you can buy in day, month, quarter...so take care of that.
but will amazon let me pay 70k by gc? because it does not let pay ebills above 20k by amazon pay balance

Why do you want to do that? If you are paying balance through credit card, you need to pay convenience fee. So better pay all the amount through UPI or borrow a credit card from your friends. (You can reach out to me also).
But I have paid in Aug'24 an amount of more than 20k using Amazon Pay Balance which was made loading Gift card

If he is paying through Amazon Pay ICICI card then there are no extra charges on Amazon. Extra charges are on all other Credit cards

If you have full KYC with Amazon, you can pay up to 1 lack rupees per transaction.
Also try adding balance in Amazon using credit card and see if it charges convenience fee. If it doesn't, you can add balance and pay the premium.

As far are as my Amazon account is concerned, it is asking for convenience fee on Amazon pay credit card too.
On paying insurance through Amazon ICICI card through Amazon it is asking for convenience fees? It should ideally not.
If you are saying that it is asking for charges for adding balance through Amazon ICICI card, then it will.

I just paid my term plan premium using credit card and it did ask for convenience fee, but since the cashback was more than the convenience fee, I paid through it.
While adding money in the payment balance, I have tried using credit card and entered the details of Amazon pay ICICI credit card, and the convenience fee was added in the payment amount.

Interesting, as per Amazon app the categories in which they levy convenience fees does not include insurance, so ideally it should not take any additional charges.
