American Express platinum reserve credit card is it good or should i go for other card? Any suggestions

I want to have AMEX Platinum travel card but can't apply for that due to some reason from AMEX side. So is it good to have AMEX Platinum reserve card or anyone can give me suggestions for any other best card so i can reduce my card from my CC Deck

If your main reason for looking at the Platinum Reserve is travel benefits, then honestly, it’s decent but not the best value anymore unless you travel very frequently and can fully use the lounge access and hotel privileges. The annual fee is on the higher side, and the rewards don’t always justify it for everyone.

If AMEX Platinum Travel isn’t available to you right now, it might be better to look at other premium cards that offer good travel benefits with easier acceptance and better reward flexibility. Cards that give solid reward rates, milestone benefits, and wider merchant acceptance can help you reduce the number of cards in your wallet without losing value.

My suggestion would be to first look at your spending pattern, travel, online spends, fuel, or general usage, and then pick one or two cards that cover most of it well. Sometimes a slightly lower-fee card gives better overall value than holding a very premium one.

Platinum Reserve isn’t a bad card, but it makes sense only if its benefits match your lifestyle. Otherwise, there are better-balanced options out there.
