Axis ace card is better cause you can get 5 percent cashback if you use this card by adding in google pay app for utilities, dth, broadband, gas, mobile recharges etc. In addition with if you pay offline from this card you will get 2 percent cashback. while airtel axis is better if you are using airtel services and paying the bills from the airtel app only.

It depends on your spending habits. For a person like me who use Airtel broadband and have more spends on swiggy, zomato Airtel axis credit card makes more sense

Hey guys, I need help to decide which one of these credit cards is better for utility bill payments.
I have both these cards, I use airtel card for electricity, LPG, DTH bill payments and swiggy, zomato and bigbasket on which I get 10% cashback and also for airtel recharges on which I get 25% cashback and for rest spends like shopping at local stores or any other online transactions I use axis ace as it give 2% cashback and airtel gives only 1% cashback so.
Depending on your monthly expenses you can decide which is better for you. I would suggest both as my annual charges (Rs 500 each) easily gets covered in 1-2 months from the cashbacks i get on both these cards. But for some reason if you wanna go for only one then go for airtel card as that's more beneficial

Dear Jyot,
Please read and understand the terms & conditions for both the cards carefully.
Thanks for sharing the T&Cs.
I was searching for the capping info. It seems like the Ace Credit Card only allows Rs. 500 per month of cashback.
I'll go with Airtel Axis CC then.

There is capping on airtel as well
- 25% cashback* on Airtel Mobile, WiFi, DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App (*capped at Rs.300 per month)
- 10% cashback* on utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App (*capped at Rs.300 per month)
- 10% cashback** on spends on Swiggy, Zomato, bigbasket (** capped at Rs. 500 per month. Total cashback across all merchants)
- 1% on all other spend (no capping on that)

For ACE,
- There is Combined capping for 5% & 4% categories that is on Cashback on bill payments (5%) and Swiggy, Zomato and Ola(4%) it is Rs 500 per month
- 2% on all other spend (no capping on that)

Yeah, what I meant was Airtel Axis CC offers a better overall cashback limit of Rs. 1100 over Axis Ace CC with a cashback limit of Rs. 600.

As of 20th April 2024

Ace 5% Upto 500/-

Airtel 10% Upto 250/-

So, if your bill is Under 2500/- then Airtel is best card for your utility payments.
and if your bill crosses 5k then Ace will be better.
