One of my friend request to open a bank account n axis bank. The Axis bank employee came to his home for Ekyc all has been done. Day after tomorrow bak employee called him an said we are unable to open bank account. And we are making a deemand draft in your name. But my friend has no any other bank account in any bank. he requested the managr and CASA employee both clearly denied to do so. and not paying amount in cash.
Please guide. He belongs from a lower middle class family.

Open a bsbd zero balance account in govt Bank. Then give that account number.

It may take some time but will do the work.

By the way why axis denied opening?

If he has all documents like pan and aadhar and if he is comfortable with mobile then go for any good zero balance account like kotak 811 digital or au bank digital savings account
