Bank of Baroda has recently undergone an upgradation of their PPF accounts, altering the previous 20-odd alphanumeric PPF account number to a more streamlined 14-digit numerical value. In the interim period, the BoB World app wasn't functioning properly as far as PPF account details were concerned. Even today, only the updated balance can be seen but the mini statement and other details aren't yet displayed. Also, it was given to understand that a new digital passbook will be made available for the new 14-digit PPF account number, which too isn't available at least at my branch. Does anyone else face a similar problem? Have new PPF passbooks been issued at other places? Can any of the Bekifaayati group shed some light on this?
