When it comes to booking railway tickets, it is advisable to use IRCTC with a debit card or UPI option, as there is no specific credit card for railways. Although there are various websites and applications available for ticket booking, I've compared the charges and found that IRCTC consistently offers the lowest rates.

For hotel bookings, any credit card should suffice, as there are no specific offers exclusive to a particular credit card.

IRCTC SBI card and IRCTC HDFC are IRCTC cobranded cards and give good value.
But if you are looking for a regular card that benefits on IRCTC then you can take hdfc millennia or card above it, you can get 5% return using those cards to book tickets through HDFC SMART BUY portal.
